At the end of 2020 I was in full blown burnout! I had spent the last 3 years growing the business. I worked all the time, even during holidays and vacations.
I spent Christmas Day in the woods with my hubby - escaping from the world - doing no work and taking no phone calls (would you believe I even received a client call on Christmas EVE?!)Â
We took a last minute trip to the mountains with our tiny camper and huskies.
We sat around the fire making steaks and freezing, while the huskies were LOVING every minute of the cold.Â
As I sat there, the reality of how I was feeling in my body hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt so stressed, despite not doing any client work or taking any calls.
🚫I struggled to relax.
🚫My mind was swirling from end to end.
🚫Worry was pressing down on every cell of my body.
At the time I didn’t realize I was experiencing burnout. I thought I was just tired and needed a break. But I was on a break, and I still felt awful. Something had to give.

That year I went on a mission to make shit different for my life.
In 2021, we made SO many NEW changes to our life.
💥Sold our home.
💥Sold 95% of our belongings - furniture, autos, clothes, toys, memories! EVERYTHING had to go.
You see, we had just upgraded our camper to 33-ft 5th wheel. We were hanging up the daily life of living in the city to travel the country.
